Brea had a good number of Verizon models and a few WiFi, but no AT&T. GSM models are obviously being saved for the international launch.
How many wifi models did they have? Particularly 32GB. My friend got out of line, wondering if he would have gotten one.

That's my main concern with the next iPhone and iOS. Android has really evolved and come along way since its first iterations whereas iOS has started to become a tad bit stale, even with jailbreaking.
That is the million dollar question. What will it have, what won't it have...? No one really knows at this point; except Apple...
I suspect they're waiting for the release of Lion, then they'll start on the iOS stuff shortly after. They could be doing it in parallel. But I'm sure they don't want to sabotage their own product announcements. I mean, more people want iOS 5 than Lion, because more people own iPhones. If they announce both, then Lion will be overshadowed...IMO.

I want to see pro keyboard / mice combos (in silver / aluminium) - back light keyboard, thinner - matches the pro laptops and desktops. And then black / white versions for the consumer range. It would look professional to have a cinema display with my macbook pro and have a bluetooth keyboard & mighty mouse set that for once matched the design in terms of colour at least.

i have a mighty mouse for my iMac, and i've never had a problem with the scroll ball "sticking" or recognizing right clicks. i like it a lot and i am quite psyched for this.

Apple sues on 'look and feel', whereas Samsung sues on core technological patents. I always assume it'd be the other way around...

What's the next logical step in a computer interface? I used to say "Computer, show me the money" to open Quicken back in pre-OS X days. More of a gimmick than anything else, but imagine if the Finder and maybe even other apps became "speakable."
Me: "Check mail"
Computer: "You have nine new messages. Would you like me to read them?"
Me: "No, thanks."
(clicks on an email, reads message)
Me: "Reply to this message"
Computer: "Type or speak?
Me: "Type"

Computer: "iphoto has 6,813 pictures of the kids, which one would you like?"

Me: "Yes, that will be fine."
Computer adds the picture to stationery in the email, other pictures go away.

Me: "...and order me a pizza."
This kind of thing can't be too far off. A 75 mhz Performa could do it in a rudimentary way. Imagine what a modern Mac may be able to do. "Speakeasy" has a nice ring to it.The funniest post i've read all year! You're a genius. :D

Now is really the time for Apple to go all out and move in on MS....
If I were Steve, I would be cranking out products, and really pushing hard to get stuff like a full on Mac media center, next gen iPods, iPhones, iTablets ect. ect..
Just because MS is kind of in limbo right now, not really doing anything big, Gates just stepped down...now is the time to really move in on their territory.
Maybe that's exactly what they're doing, but it seems like the big product announcements have dropped off completley....the last big announcement was the Macbook, which was a no brainer...high fi ect....
Hopefully they are all going mad scientist in the Apple labs cooking something really special up, and are just going to unload them all at once....we'll see...

I am not sure why it won't die. I suppose they might, I just can not think of any reason why. The Apple TV as a STB is a much better fit for them. Might they sell this to tv makes as an embedded option. Maybe. Will they make their own TV, I still don't see the point.

I really hope that it comes tomorrow as my apple store credit card is on fire waiting to be spent. ;) however @dpdesilva on twitter is rumoring that apple will delay imac refresh due to leaks and rumors being overshadowed by Bin Laden's Death. Personally I think it might be B.S. I care more about my Imac than the story of his death.
Sounds like a load of bs to me.. someone is fame hungry.. Why would the news of Osama's death overshadow rumors/leaks of the new iMac.. they are both on totally different scales and subjects. One is world breaking news.. one is not and I don't see how it's going to stop people like me from being worried about other things like my life, daily routine and this iMac that I want ever so desperately..

The white one is definitely thicker than the black. It is a much tighter fit, especially with a screen protector on it trying to fit it into The bumper was quite hard. Not much but the bumper is a tighter fit.
